Okay, so I just noticed that this blog has 920+ views already. GOOD GUM. I'm practically a celebrity already! :OOO So I do what I usually do: check out where most of my traffic (also known as views, to those of you who don't have online marketing moms like I do) came from.
Here's the thing: most of my traffic, even since the start of this blog's creation, came from random sites I did not know at all. Hear that? At. All.
Like there's this one time that I got a chunk of viewers from a Korean image gallery. .___. I ain't Korean. I'm Asian, but I'm not Korean. (I can't even sing Gangnam Style properly D:) :I And second, I am not a photographer. You can't make me take pictures and make them fantastic. -.-
Then there was that one time that a technology forum was responsible for some of my views. T_T seriously? The only thing I know about technology is that it does stuff for you. Does stuff for you and brainwashes you to become lazy pandas. (At least pandas are adorable. :I) There's even a slim chance that one of those tech geeks read my blog, happened to like it, and shared its link to his tech buddies. I doubt tech geeks even take a second glance at Kid Fort. If they did, I'm pretty sure it's to criticize my lame layout. //sob
Now, currently, most of my views come from two sites: 1) an online marketing one; and 2) a Yahoo webpage which, after you click it, Yahoo denies ever making. (Yahoo, you liar. XD loljk)
Look, I understand if most of my pageviews came from NaNoWriMo or StoryWrite people - or even the kids from my homeschooling program - since my friends and I spread the word about my blog in those places but...I have nothing to do with Korean photographers, tech geeks, online marketers, and Yahoo people. :I
Where are all my mysterious pageviews coming from?
My mom told me they could just be traffic bots - a bot that automatically visits your site once you update. IDK what they're there for. (Probably to bring up bloggers' hopes and make them think, hey, someone actually reads my muck. ;___;)
I really hope, though, that a good many of those views come from actual people. Breathing people. With blood in their warm fleshy bodies. With a pulse. And body odor. Mmm, body odor.
