MEET KADYN!

:D Told you I'd blog more frequently.

Anyway, I've been thinking about something for some time: introducing a Kid Fort mascot. After all, tons of successful people/shows/whatevur have mascots: Pokemon has Pikachu, Jewie-neesan has Mr. Dinosaur, J.K. Rowling has Harry Potter...

So I went on the program GIMP (sort of like free Photoshop :D) and started drawing a mascot.

actually in all honesty, she was just coloring practice until i realized i was coloring the girl in with Kid Fort's color scheme. so i thought, meh, why not? XD

MEET KADYN:

Ain't she the cutest? ^3^ Her full name is Kadyn Fort Falgun. :D I made her name sound like Kid Fort for You! ('Cause I have officially made her only purpose to be the mascot of this blog. >:D MWAHAHAHA)

After a dozen posts or so - when Kadyn is already well-known 'round these parts - I might even make an About Us page. Mainly because I'm forever alone and I want random blog readers to think I actually have a blogging friend whose name uncannily sounds like the blog name. :3

Who knows - maybe she might even star in the Kid Fort animated advertisement! :OOO MAYBE I CAN MAKE HER INTO AN ADDITIONAL BLOGGER SO MORE PEOPLE WOULD THINK KID FORT IS RUN BY TWO PEOPLE WHEN IN REALITY IT'S JUST ONE FOREVER ALONE KID.

GENIUS.

Anyway, some additional info:

  • Now that Kadyn is here, I can now proceed to make a brand new header and favicon. Whoop, whoop!
  • Yes, I'm seriously planning on animating an advertisement for Kid Fort this summer. :I
  • Please...I need more readers...please share this link with anybody...I don't care if it's to your grandma, your dog, your blind cousin, your four-year-old brother, or even Willy Wonka...just share it...;_;
That's it for today, I guess. Auf widersehen, and peace out. *^*

Changing My Life Book!

See? Told you guys I would blog on Saturdays.

Anyway, since no topic whatsoever would come into my mind, I thought you guys would like to know about my Changin' My Life Book!

lol. sorry for the poor quality drawing. i'm in a hurry :I

It's basically just a little sky blue notebook which will be sort of my guide for the rest of the year.

It holds my schedule, goals, resolutions, and plans of action. I've never really stuck to a schedule (I'm homeschooled, remember? :3) ._. so if I did stick to a schedule, this book would've already changed my life.

:D ANYWAY, I'm really going to look at it everyday. Seriously. I even put a bunch of rules on it:

1. READ EVERYDAY D:< (see? this is why i read it everyday XD)
2. Keep neat
3. Write a progress report every few days

Uh, that progress report bit is just writing in to tell myself if I stuck to my schedule, drank enough water, did my part to make my dreams all the more closer...

BUT WAIT. Why do I have one, you ask?

Well, I got the idea when I was reading this little site (I forgot what it was... :P) and one of the bloggers said she wrote her daily and weekly schedule - and some plans for 2013 - in a book. And I thought, "I could do that too :I"

Since said blogger never mentioned what she calls her book, I decided to call it my

CHANGING MY LIFE BOOK!

'Cause it sounds awesome that way. :3

I know it's way too late to make one now (I made the CML book at, like, January 3 ._.), but if you want 2013 to be the BEST YEAR EVER (like me), here's how to make one of your own! :D

Step 1: Grab an average little notebook, preferably blank. I say "preferably" because my CML book isn't. XD I intended to use it as a place to keep my writing, which is why there's this unfinished short story at the start...never got to finishing it, obviously...

Step 2: Write a few rules. You're free to write whatever you like, but it'd be better if you include the three rules I mentioned above. :)

Step 3: Write your resolutions for the year

Step 4: Write down your plans of action for each resolution. For example, if one of your resolutions is to have enough money to buy your own Wii by the end of the year, plan to save 20% of your allowance every day. You'll also get a little extra by selling your comic book collection and getting paid for doing chores. Unless you work to keep your word, your resolutions would DIE by February :/

Step 5: Write your goals down. Make it a little checklist so that, by the time you reach that goal, you have the satisfaction of checking it off your list.

Step 6: Write your general daily and weekly schedule. If it's hard for you to keep a schedule (like me >3<), add a lot of Derp Time in; that's basically an hour of doing whatever you please.

Step 7: Write progress reports! That way, you can monitor how close you are to reaching your goals and check out if a new (unhealthy!) habit is forming.

Sooo there you have it.

...

Yeah. .__. Peace out, guys

Weirdest Things Blog Meme!

:D Okay. First of all, sorry I haven't posted in quite some time. I was busy wasting time lollygagging and forgot all about you guys ._.

ANYWAY. I was bored and had nothing to do, so I checked out this cool blog The Magic Violinist (it's written by a homeschooled girl who already writes in a writing website. *ENVY* lol no) and saw some meme. Which I'm going to steal USE for today's post, just 'cause.

:D

What do you think the weirdest color is?
:I Uuuh...silver, I guess. It's like grey...only SHINIER. HOW CAN YOU MAKE GREY SHINIER???! :O

What is the weirdest TV show/movie you have ever seen?
Scott Pilgrim vs The World. I'm not really supposed to watch it (it's like, PG 13 ._.) but it's sooo weird and random. Seriously, guys. Randomest thing EVUR. (Next to me. lol)

What is the weirdest food you have ever tried?
...once when I was like six or seven, I made a sandwich out of crackers, ketchup, mayonnaise, powdered milk, and sugar. ._. It sounds weird...but it tastes pretty good... .____.

What is the weirdest drink you have ever tried?
Lychee juice. (I'm not really adventurous in the Drink department XD)

Who is your weirdest friend?
I don't know. 'Cause I'm forever alone. Probably Bene.

What is the weirdest thing you have ever seen on the internet?
This :D

What is the weirdest thing your pet has ever done?
Our Aspin (asong Pinoy, which means Filipino dog) Crissie once ate her own poop :D

What is the weirdest book you have ever read?
Asdghjkl. I don't read a lot of books (even if I want to) .__. but I think Galadria: Peter Huddleston and the Rites of Passage fits the bill. It's not exactly weird...just a bit random. But it's still so heartwarming :3

What is the weirdest blog you follow?

That's pretty much it.

Plus, one of my New Year's resolutions: blogging regularly! And you'll be sure I'm gonna keep to this resolution! Expect at least one blog post every Saturday! (I mean, I'm free to blog whenever I like, but at least you're guaranteed there'll be a post for Saturday :3)

Peace out, homes :3
