Soooo this story starts with a little 2-year-old girl named ----- ---- (lol, you really thought I'd tell you? -.-). At this age, I knew how to read and I was reading those really lame preschool books by that time. I loved reading, and when I wasn't playing in Stuffed Toy Land (I'll discuss this in another blog post), I'd probably be reading.
Naturally, when I was a good reader, I was an awesome writer. In fact, I got accelerated in Kindergarten because I could spell up to eight-letter words (which was remarkable for a kindergartner) and easily got into Prep. One of my friends, Beatrice, asked me to write her a story because she was bored, and when I did, it triggered my love for writing.
I wrote everyday, everywhere. Okay, now that I'm older I notice most of those stories SUCK, with a capital S and capital U-C-K, but it was the thought that counted.
Fast-forward to 7-year-old me, whose mom was working online at that time and doing some blogging. She encouraged me to write for her blog--you know, something like how staying at home benefits your kids and stuffs--and I of course accepted.
My mom's American, Australian, and British employers read her blog. And could you believe it? They thought that my posts were just hers pretending to be a little second grader. As much as the both of us protested, they insisted it was written by a middle-aged woman.
That inspired me to start a few blogs. I changed my username from ---------22 to kidZ to conceal my real name. I was blogging like crazy every few days, and I emailed their links to anyone who cared.
Eventually, the initial excitement of blogging died down, so I stopped completely for three years.
During those three years, I started SEO Writing and blogging on the Feast Alabang website. Let me tell you that I have NEVER stopped writing, but most of my stories were hidden in the private awesomeness of my desktop's Microsoft Word.
Guess whut? Three years later, I decided I want to blog AGAIN, and this time on my OWN, so I chose the one that was easiest to revive (Barbie Tips and Hippy the Happy Hippo will take a loooooong time to resurrect -.-), which is obviously Kid Fort, so I worked my kid magic on it.
And look at it noooow. It's awesome. If I showed you the before and after pictures, you probably won't believe it :D. srsly though, i'll never show you the before picture. eet ees awful ._.
Awesome cheesy story, huh?
i'm a girl D:
I hope I inspired you to start blogging/writing/whatever-pork-you-do, even if its excitement dies down. Peace out :3
