I'll See You on Monday. But for Now, Here's Some Stuff

I've mentioned several times before that I'd be going to spiritual youth camp - for the nosier ones, it's called Camp Calye (the rough English definition is basically Street Camp .-.) - which I wouldn't link because the netbook is particularly laggy today.

I'm leaving tomorrow. And I'll be gone until after Mother's Day. (Actually I'll be home on Mother's Day, but no doubt I'd spend the rest of the day being a big fat sloth. -3-)

AWWW. DON'T CRY.

Here, take this blog post to cheer you up.

Since I AM after all going to CATHOLIC youth camp...I'm going to show you a bunch of CATHOLIC stuff. :D

(To all you non-Catholics, just go with it. Please. ;__; No religion fights allowed in Kid Fort. Fistfights, maybe, and slapfights, yes, and cuteness fights, OH YES...but no religion fights. o.o)

1. LifeTeen.com

This site is all about being a teen and loving God. I just discovered this site the other day and loved it. It's fun (one point), funny (double points), relatable (triple points), and unlike most childish evangelizing sites, it actually touches on deep topics! (HERE TAKE ALL MY POINTS.)

2. WE ARE RUNNIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING :D

Perfect marathon music. Just imagine that. You're running, all sweaty and puffy and sunburnt and MISERABLE, and then suddenly-

"WE ARE RUNNIIIIIIIIING 8D!"

That's either coincidental or motivational. IDK. I just like it 'cause it's great music to listen to while you're packing in the middle of the night. XD

3. A website by the guy who made me homeschooled

The blog of Tito Bo Sanchez. :D (If you recall, Tito means "Uncle" in English. Even if we aren't, uh, related. o.o) This is better for parents or people who are in college - neither of whom read my blog, I suppose - but go give it a shot anyway. The tips aren't only spiritual, they're very practical and useful for average people like you or me. (Assume for one moment we're both average. o3o) He writes like a regular guy, it's almost hard to believe he's a BESTSELLING AUTHOR and MILLIONAIRE ENTREPRENEUR and ONE OF THE MOST FAMOUS PREACHERS IN THE PHILIPPINES.

...

Yup. :3

:O That's it? I'll be gone for a while and I leave you with THREE items?

:I Well, considering those three items would most likely keep you occupied for a WHILE (I know I was), that should make up for mah disappearance. And besides, it's way more productive to increase your faith than, you know, corroding your sense of humor by reading my blog. .-.

Now let me just ramble a bit about camp:

First of all, there are no summer camps in the Philippines that last the entire summer. Why? Because parents darn love their kids too much to send them away for three whole flipping months. o____o D'AAAAAW! :3 So usually most camps around here are only last overnight or, like mine, for a few days. The longest summer camp here that I've heard of lasts two weeks. owo I can't imagine the packing THAT would take.

Let me tell you this: PACKING FOR FOUR DAYS OF CAMP IS NOT EASY. NOT. EASY.

You have to fit a load of clothes and toiletries and a bunch of other stuff in a giant fat backpack - a backpack, which, btw, is now as fat as I'm thin (that is saying something, my friend o.o) - and a giant travel bag.

I also have to carry, btw, packs of food, a sleeping bag, and so many liters of water. Which is too much to carry for someone as athletically challenged, vertically challenged, horizontally challenged, and mentally challenged as me. Yeah.

Oh, and before I go, let me share with you a status on Facebook which made my day:

"Just a friendly reminder that God loves you :)"

:> And with that, my fair frolicking 'fro-lickin' readers, I bid you all farewell. For a while. :D Peace out.
